Good thought to use a bungee cord instead of tape. me? I would have used tape and been cursing my stupidity while trying to remove it.

I don't think a roller would do the very corners...wouldn't there be danger of getting the paint on the walls?

Obviously those who choose a roller don't paint that often. A roller leaves a gap in the tight point of the roller.
